When can I move in?
You can move in anytime after completing your contract and receiving your gate code.  Your access is 24 hours a day.

How much notice needs to be given before I move out?
All contracts are month-to-month.  However we do require a 10-day  notice before you move out.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver's license, state ID or passport).

Do I need to sign a long- term lease?
No, we rent on a month-month basis.

Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?
No. At the time of signing, you will be given your own security gate code that will allow you access to your unit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How do I make a payment?
You can pay in person, by mail, or online through our website.  You may also sign up to have your payments automatically deducted monthly from your credit card.

What forms of payments do you accept?
Checks, Money Orders, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Cash.

Do I need storage insurance?
They say you should plan for the best, but prepare for the worst. At Sandia Park Self Storage, you can plan on clean and secure storage units, and feel prepared with easy short-term storage insurance policies that won’t put your long-term homeowner’s insurance at risk.

Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?
Yes. We sell various moving supplies in our office.

How do I know how much storage space I will need?
You can either use of Storage Estimator on our website or call our manager for assistance.

Do I need to bring my own lock?
We encourage tenants to purchase our heavy-duty locks but you can bring your own lock. 

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, exposives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, perishables (food items) and any illegal substances.  Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

What are my actual move-in cost?
First month's rent.
